This tumbler is made from 100% recycled window glass by the Aurora Glass foundry in Oregon, which is a non-profit organization that provides assistance to homeless and low-income people. A portion of your purchase goes directly to their wonderful charity. My husband and I sandblasted my original artwork onto this glass in our home studio, and it's initialed on the bottom by myself. This is the perfect size for a cocktail, egg nog, spiced cider, or juice for kids. It's extremely thick and sturdy, and microwave and dishwasher safe. The clear color has a bluish-green tinge to it and lots of tiny bubbles from its recycled glass content. There will be some variation in shape and size, since these glasses are each handmade. Approx. 4.75" (11.5cm) tall; 2.5" (6cm) wide at base; 3" (8cm) wide across top; holds about 8oz. of your favorite beverage.
Day 104 - Today's FGR theme was Flickr Can Has Cheezburger. This theme is going to need some explanation for some of my viewers. There is a website at icanhascheezburger.com/ that features pictures of animals with funny internet typo'd captions. Generally the animal in question is a cat, though I've seen goats and pandas as well. Anyway I was inspired by one of the pictures in question so I'll include it in the comments below. Today we did 10 interviews at roughly 45-50 minutes a piece. It was grueling and we're just happy that there's only one day left. I have some extra interviews to do early in the morning so I'll be missing a few of the interviews while my co-workers pick up the slack. So many people to talk to!!
